Coaching success for Borth Rowing Club
On Saturday 3 December two of Borth Rowing Club's senior rowers were assessed by British Rowing's Dave Thompson and achieved a Level 2 Certificate in coaching rowing in coastal waters.
Pip Nicholas and Martyn Davies had worked hard all summer with the help of a few of Borth Rowing Club's rowers, who acted as guinea pigs for their fledgling coaching sessions. Through their hard work and dedication they achieved the British Rowing Level 2 Coaching certificate and are now fully qualified coaches. This brings the number of qualified coaches at the club up to four. The addition of Pip and Martyn to the coaching staff is a major development in the growth of the club.
All of the club's members realise how much effort Pip and Martyn put in to achieve this and wish them success in their coaching careers.
